MUMBAI: Colors presents Durga, a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai. Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, and produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show is set in Jodhpur, the story follows Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.
As of late, Pani Bai has claimed to have spotted Anurag and Durga in the same room, and she has asked Vikram not to feel guilty about it at all.
In preparation for his impending marriage to Durga, Rajesh tells Vikram and Pani Bai that they must ensure that nobody, especially Anurag, is aware of Durga's whereabouts.
The narrative takes an intriguing turn when Durga is forced to marry Rajesh against her will after spending the night with him and is also character assassinated by everyone.
While a great deal of trouble awaits them and numerous things go against them, Rajesh spends a night with Durga in his hut. It's said that she's a horrible woman.
We will see in the upcoming episodes how Durga loses her dignity and is pressured to wed Rajesh against her will, even though she feels terrible about what transpired.
