MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television. We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Chini are all grown up. The latest plot has been about Atharva and Imlie’s life post-marriage. Atharva still loves Chini and she is constantly trying to create issues between Atharva and Imlie.
Imlie recently found the note that Chini had left for Rudra mentioning she loves Atharva and that whoever willcome in their way, will suffer. But since a name is not mentioned, she is unable to figure out who it is from.

In the forthcoming episodes, Imlie will eventually discover the girl is unrelated to Atharva, but her bubble will burst when she will discover that Atharva is having an extramarital affair and is not in love with her.
Furthermore, Atharva wants to tell Imlie the truth as he can't stand to lie about it anymore, but Chini wants to wait until he receives money or an inheritance in his name. Atharva is still restless and wishes to tell Imlie the truth so when Imlie confronts Atharva, he admits it to her and confesses his love for someone else without mentioning Chini’s name. Imlie is shattered to hear the truth.
Later we will see Imlie leaving the Rana house because she doesn't want to be in an unhappy marriage. The family tries to stop her but she refuses to stay at the house and cannot bear to be with Atharva.
Further on, Atharva discovers Chini had been lying to him and was merely after his money. He is shocked and shattered after learning that Chini does not love him, in fact never did.
