MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya is a drama produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms.
The series stars Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia as main leads. Since March 2019, Mugdha Chaphekar, Pooja Banerjee and Krishna Kaul were also introduced as leads of the second generation alongside Sriti and Shabbir. The concept is based on Jane Austen's 1811 novel Sense and Sensibility. Later a 20-year leap was introduced. The show was rebranded as "Dusri Pidhi". The story now revolves around the married lives of Prachi-Ranbir and Rhea-Siddharth.
Well, the current drama will now bring in a fresh twist where Kareena will be seen challenging Preeta and telling her that Karan does not only love her and that she will prove it. She will tell Preeta that when Karan returns, she will have a word with him and then not only she but the entire house will now that it is not only Preeta who lives in Karan’s heart!
