MUMBAI: Colors’ show Molkki is an interesting drama.

The show features Priyal Mahajan, Amar Upadhyay and Toral Rasputra in pivotal roles.

The concept of the film is based on a practise in Northern India of bride buying where poor girls are sold off as brides to rich men.

The story revolves around Purvi, a 19-year-old girl who becomes the molkki bride of 42-year-old chief Virendra Pratap Singh, a widower, and father of four children. She fights for her and other molkki brides' rights, as well as fulfil her responsibilities as wife, daughter-in-law, mother, and chieftess of Rewari.

The show focuses on an important drama currently wherein Purvi gets shocked when she finds that the man whom Renu is marrying is actually the father of Anjali's child. And thus Purvi exposes him and at the same time, she exposes Prakashi who tried to abort Anjali's child.

However, all goes in vain when the witness puts all blame on Purvi.

Furious Renu slaps Purvi and blames her for trying to ruin her marriage and this only deteriorates the situation as Virendra's trust in Purvi again gets shaken. Purvi and Anjali face humiliation but Purvi is not ready to lose so easily.

So, how Purvi will expose Satyam and Prakashi?
