MUMBAI: In the upcoming episode of Neela Film Productions Private Limited’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah viewers will see that everyone in Gokuldhaam Society has got themselves vaccinated for COVID-19, except Jethaalal. Jethaalal, as it turns out, has a fear of needles and is making excuses to avoid getting jabbed.

Jethaalal has been queasy ever since Bhide announced plans of organizing a vaccination camp in Gokuldhaam Society. It is not that he has any worries about getting vaccinated for COVID-19 but it is his inherent fear of the needles that is making him extremely nervous. Just to avoid getting his jab, he decides to make up some excuse about work and stay away from home for the entire day. However, his attempts to escape the vaccination camp are in vain and he is unable to leave the Society. He then fakes a fever but with his father – Champakklal and his best friend – Taarak Mehtta around, his excuses are falling short of conviction. There is very little space left for Jethaalal to now wriggle his way out of getting vaccinated.

With the nation having dealt with two catastrophic waves of the pandemic, it has become extremely important for every individual to get themselves vaccinated for COVID-19. However, there are quite a few people who are apprehensive about getting themselves vaccinated for several reasons. Even Jethaalal, who knows the importance of getting himself vaccinated, is trying to procrastinate it just because of his fear of needles. However, he will have to overcome his fear and get jabbed.
