Earlier, Anirudh recalled the moment Jhanak told him that she hated him. He took her name and asked how she could do this to him. While Jhanak and Choton were talking, Nurse asked them about Jhanak, which Choton confirmed by pointing a figure at her. She told them that he had been calling her name since he started responding.
Now, Jhanak comes to meet Anirudh, sobbing when she sees his condition. As she touches his neck, he experiences pain and wakes. When Anirudh asks her who she is, Jhanak says that she is his attendant. She tells him that he has undergone surgery so has to endure a little pain when he feels a pain behind his neck.
She feels awful for him as he tells her that he is frequently reminded of being humiliated by her. He tells her that she has repeatedly insulted him when he has gone to bring her back and that he hates her. Jhanak is shocked to hear this and taken aback.
