MUMBAI: In the previous episodes of Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi, the viewers witnessed the entry of Kapil's Bua Dadi. Bua Dadi had an ugly encounter with Mangal, which made her develop negative feelings towards her. When Bua Dadi later met Mangal as Kapil's would-be bride, she was shocked, as she had disliked her from their very first meeting.
Since Bua Dadi already disliked Mangal, Pratima hid the fact that Mangal is a divorcee and has two kids. Pratima believes that if Bua Dadi learns the truth, she will not allow Kapil to marry Mangal. When Akshat visited Kapil's house, Pratima lied to Bua Dadi, stating that he was a servant's child.
Furthermore, in the market, Shanti met Pratima and Bua Dadi. Shanti's voice and behaviour didn’t sit well with Bua Dadi, and she felt that Mangal's family was not very cultured. Bua Dadi asked Shanti why Mangal never got married. This left Shanti shocked, as she realised that Bua Dadi was unaware of Mangal's divorce and her kids. Pratima handled the situation and later asked Shanti for her help in keeping the truth hidden from Bua Dadi.
During the special puja, the Pehla Swaad ladies praised Mangal, which softened Bua Dadi's heart a little. In the upcoming episodes, Mangal will tell Bua Dadi that Akshat is her son. Is this just a dream or reality? Only time will tell.
