MUMBAI: Rashmi Sharma Telefilms is one of the most popular production houses. The production house is here with a new show ‘Suhaagan’ on Colors TV.

The premise of the story is that Bindiya along with her sister Payal, who are as different as chalk and cheese, are left to fend for themselves against the greed of their scheming relatives. She takes on the role of a caregiver for Payal, ensuring that she is safe and well taken care of, despite the challenges they face.

'Suhaagan' is set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and will feature child actors Aakriti Sharma and Kurangi V Nagraj, who will play the roles of young Bindiya and Payal, respectively.

In the previous episode, Bindiya and Payal will be seen busy and excited selecting their clothes and Mami will also help them select a dress to wear.

While Mami selects a dress for Payal, she gets happy to see Bindiya’s choice and tells her that it’s going to look amazing on her.

Seeing this, Payal feels insecure and jealous.

Later, Payal tries to convince Bindiya to not wear the dress selected by Mami, saying that it’s a very old dress.

However, Bindiya tells Payal that the dress is surely old but it still fits the same and so she can wear it. As Bindiya goes to the washroom she tells Payal to keep a watch till she comes back.

This is where things get spicier. Payal gets the chance she wanted and the audience will see the ugly side of Payal where she looks at the dress and thinks to herself that if Mami is her favourite then even she should be Mami’s favourite.

Payal decides to mess with the dress and so she purposely puts her dirty hands on the dress to ruin it.

She suddenly hears Bindiya’s voice and gets alert but just when she gets back to her position she gets shocked to the core to see that Mami has been standing right outside the room, watching her through the window.

According to the latest promo of the show, the audience will get to see the crack in the relationship of two sisters as Payal will choose freedom.

Bindiya tries to convince Payal to stay with her and Dadi and let Mami go but Payal rebels and questions Bindiya’s authority, asking why does she (Bindiya) take all the decisions for her (Payal).

Later, Payal tells Mami to take her along to Mumbai with her and when Bindiya asks if she will be okay without her and Dadi, Payal tells her that if she can live without her parents then she can live without her and Dadi.
