MUMBAI: Star Plus' popular show 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' began as a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksha Khurana, and a gynaecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising their siblings' son, Saaransh together.
The show is currently going through a dramatic tangent. The show has taken a leap of 20 years, and Rudra and Preesha are now dead. The story now focuses on Nayantara and Samrat.

Previously, we saw Sam has selected a saree for Nayan but she shows up in a different one when they will be in front of the media. Revati is gifting Nayan an expensive Diamond necklace but the box turns out empty and Sam alerts Revati of the same.
Malati and Revati then bump into each other and the necklace falls out of her purse to which Revati accuses her of stealing. She then recalls how she trapped Malti to exact revenge on Nayan. Nayan then comes in defense of her mother and states that she would never steal anything or do something so wrong in her daughter’s house.
Sam asks his MIL to stop lying and Nayan then lashes out at him for accusing her mother.
We also saw that Sam is going to be greeted with a blast from the past that can shatter his present completely.
Sam’s ex Mansi will make an entrance in his life with his supposed son and this will be a complete shocker for Samrat.
Now, we bring you an exclusive update that Mansi will find out about Nayan and Samrat’s wedding through the media and decides to seek revenge and Mansi shows up to Samrat’s house to blackmail him.
Nayan’s mother leaves after she is insulted and does not even listen to Nayantara, when she goes back that’s when Nayatara finds Prem outside and takes him back home, and when he sees Mansi and Samrat together, he shouts that they are his parents. Nayantara will be left in absolute shock.
