It's fascinating to notice that fans of one of the most romantic franchises, Aashiqui, are buzzing with anticipation for the third installment. Although the participation of Kartik Aaryan as the main male actor was already known, the producers have now disclosed more cast members.

The actor recently went through a personal crisis when he suffered a brain stroke. Rahul said that none of his co-stars including filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Pooja Bhatt never reached out to him.

Rahul Roy, who made his Bollywood debut with the 1990 film Aashiqui, recently recalled how he landed the role in the film. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Roy said that his mother, who was a writer, had asked Mahesh Bhatt to cast him in the film.

According to reports, Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone might be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in the film. But, with stars being cast in Aashiqui 3, will the franchise lose its true essence?

Now this actress who has made a smooth transition from the South to Hindi entertainment, has expressed a strong desire to work with the Lukka Chuppi actor.
