Taking a cue from Himesh is former <em> Indian Idol</em> Abhijeet Sawant. The buzz goes that the singer has already signed for a film. When asked about it Abhijeet replies, "This is news to me. However, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at acting. If any good role comes my way, I wouldn't hesitate in taking it up."

One of the very damdaar (promising)<em> Indian Idol</em> contestant Puja Chatterjee was eliminated from the show last Saturday. "It was a bit unexpected and shocking but then I thought if Deepali can be eliminated then even I can be. I failed to please the audience for votes. However, I have promised myself to make it big in the Indian film industry," says Chatterjee.

Though he was our first <em> Indian idol,</em> Abhijeet Sawant couldn't quite make it to the top league of singers in the Indian music industry. However, after lurching in the dark for two years, Abhijeet is all set to capture our hearts with the launch of his second album <em> Junoon.</em> "I'm coming up with my second album next week titled <em> Junoon</em> .That's all that I can reveal now.
