In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Kiran Karmarkar who played the character of Om Agarwal in Star Plus show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii spoke about his guest appearance in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, reuniting with Smriti Irani, Sakshi Tanwar and more.

Karan had long breaks and didn't receive any TV shows. But in 2013, after starring in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, he returned to the spotlight. In the program, he was adored as Raman Bhalla. After that, he performed numerous shows and won the audience's love.

Indian television shows have usually the same old plot line revolving around families and marriages. Only a few shows have not been afraid to experiment and stood out. The audience feels the need for more experimental shows and to start a new era with no “saas-bahu” shows.
