After that he continued to prove his mettle in many other shows and currently, he is winning hearts as KD's (Ronit Roy) assistant, Varun, in Sony Entertainment Television's <em>Adaalat</em> (Contiloe Entertainment).

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/lifestyle/my-mom-calls-me-piglet-neha-bamb>Neha Bamb</a> who was last seen in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zee-tv-leave-maayka>Maayka</a> is now all set to return on the small screen with VG productions upcoming show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/vg-productions-make-show-colors-amar-lead>Vidhwa</a></em> on Colors. The show is likely to go on floors from January 5, though the makers have not got any definite time slot or launch date for the same.

He created ripples sometime back with the popular soaps Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann and Maayka and now <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/thoda-hai-bas-thode-ki-zaroorat-hai-may-have-wait-thoda-aur>Romit Raj</a> is yet again in the news. When almost all small screen actors are grabbing whatever film they can lay their hands on Romit has turned down an offer for a commercial Bollywood film.

Vineet Raina aka Veer of <em> Maayka </em> has gained much popularity in a short spam of time. Currently Vineet is not seen much in the serial and this has upset his fans. They have been demanding to see more of him on screen. The actor is happy with the response of his fans but not so happy with the way his character is shaping up in the show. “I feel my character is side- lined in <em> Maayka </em>. It’s not that I’m unhappy but the way its taking shape makes me feels low,” says Vineet.

Romit Raaj is on cloud nine. Professionally, he has bagged a new show on Colors and personally, he is all set to tie the knot with Tina Kakkar (who he met three years ago) on March 28. An elated Romit narrates his love story to us, “We met through a common friend three years ago, but after that we were in touch only via mails. It was after three years when I finished my show <em>Perfect Bride</em>, we had a general chat. Then we met each other in Pune where she stays. I was surprised to find we had many things in common. Things were moving fast but Tina is an angel.”

Maayka is soon going off air. The show produced by Creative Eye is finally going to conclude after a run of two years. The show has always been under the scanner since quite some time now. Zee has many shows ready for take-off and the strongest contender to fill in <em>Maayka’s</em> vacant slot is Contiloe’s <em>Rani Lakhsmi Bai</em>.

Zee’s primetime show<em> Maayka</em> is facing major roadblocks. The shooting of the show is on hold since the past few days as the director Santosh Bhatt has lodged a complaint against Sangamitra, Creative Director of the show at the Federation of Western India Cine Employees. Santosh is aggrieved as he has been replaced in the show without any prior notice.

How ironical is it that a death brings joy. And those who are joyous are Zee TV and Creative Eye – the broadcasters and producers of<em> Maayka</em>. Not long ago, it was reported that the show was down in the barrel after lead actress Shilpa Shinde called it quits and one of their premier characters Veer (Vineet Raina) was laid to rest. As always in our soaps, a death infuses new life i.e. a new character. Stepping into the <em> Maayka</em> territory is Indraneil Sengupta.
