Mohit Malik has romanced many popular television divas over his long career span.

On this auspicious day of Mahalaya today (15 October 2012), when we invoke Maa Durga, two beautiful actresses of Telly dom share their birthdays. One is the cute Mona Vasu, who was last seen as Richa in Colors’<em>Parichay</em>, and Ghazal Rai of <em>Left Right Left</em> fame. Shares Mona, “Well, last night I cut cakes with my friends. Today, I might go out with my friends out of town, depending on my work schedule. I am also planning to cut a few more this evening. Regarding by wish on this memorable day, I wish lots of good work coming my way.”

He made his mark on television with his role as an NRI in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/its-time-baa-bahoo-aur-baby-bid-adieu>Baa Bahu Aur Baby</a>. He then moved on to become one of the hosts of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/dharmendra-and-tvs-three-lead-ladies-set-igt-3-finale-alight-tonight>India’s Got Talent 3</a>, apart from doing some Bollywood films and many TV commercials. Now he is all set to essay the part of an NRI once again.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/utv-s-rakta-sambhandh-imagine>Imagine</a>’s next big chat show that was tentatively titled ‘Kya Bolti Tu’ now has a new name ‘<em>Meethi Choori No 1</em>’. The show is based on the International show ‘<em>Women who rant</em>’ which was produced by Imagine’s parent company, Turner International. The show has 25 popular women from the television industry who would be coming together for a ‘bitch out’ session as they rave and rant about their peers in the game of perception.

The comedy show <em> Jamegi Jodi.com</em> on 9X which marked the comeback of Mona Vasu and Mihir Mishra is soon to go off air. This show had been launched with much fanfare but has now ended in a whimper. We called up Mihir to know what exactly went wrong. “I have no idea why the show is going off air. It was the number one show on 9X initially,” says Mihir. “My last shooting schedule of seven days is pending. I don’t have an exact idea but I think by April end or May it will be pulled off air,” he adds.

Touted as the next big thing on television, Mona Vasu charmed the viewers with her maiden show, <em> Millee </em> on Star Plus. Though the show has been off air for some time now, the industry always had a keen eye on what's next for this chulbuli actor.
