Mannat: Adnan Khan opens up on his role in the show, says, ' I felt nice while auditioning but when I did the mock shoot...' - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI: After his successful stint in Katha Ankahee, Adnan Khan is all set to be back with his new show on Colors TV.

The show also stars Ayesha Singh in the lead role and actress Mona Vasu will also be essaying a pivotal role in the show.

The drama series is titled Mannat and the promo of the show is already out.

As the show's launch date draws closer, TellyChakkar had an exclusive chat with Adnan who spoke about the show and much more.

Spilling beans on his character, Adnan said, ''When I was auditioning for this character, I found out that it is something different as he doesn't have any kind of demons or trauma inside him. He is someone who sees beauty in everything. He is a person who doesn't have much to worry about. So, he sees everything with a very different perspective and I liked this quality of his. There are no hiccups and he is not carrying any baggage. I felt nice while auditioning but when I did the mock shoot, I felt even better. I thought this was something fun. I don't know how the viewers will perceive this character but I am having fun.''

Revealing his experience of working with Ayesha, Adnan said, ''I think Ayesha is a very disciplined actor and she takes her work very seriously. That's very interesting to see. I have worked with so many actors and I won't say one is better than the other. You don't reach here if you aren't that level of a performer. Watching her work so technically disciplined and sound is very interesting.''
