In a podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachyaa, Shweta Tiwari revealed that she didn't like Hardy Sandhu's Bijlee Bijlee before Palak Tiwari was signed.

Her son, Reyansh Kohli was born into the marriage in 2013 when she got married to Abhinav Kohli. However, she had problems with her second marriage as well, and in 2019 she and Abhinav announced their split. She recently expressed her concern over Palak's childhood due to her history of abusive marriages and divorces.

Female actresses have often voiced concerns about the pay disparity between women and male actors in both film and television. However, that was never a problem for Shweta Tiwari. She was regarded as one of the highest-paid female actresses in Indian television.
