Movie chakkar has already reported that Prakash Jha has decided to cast Katrina Kaif again in the sequel of his <em>Rajneeti</em>. And the actress is super excited to be a part of the project.

The prestigious London Film Festival’s director Clare Stewart has invited Prakash Jha’s latest film <em>Chakravyuha</em> to be the opening film at the festival. A singular honour, considering no Indian film has opened the London Film Festival since Prakash Jha’s Mrityudand in 1997. There is only one hitch. The festival directorate has requested Prakash Jha to postpone the film’s release date by a week, from 5 Oct to 12 Oct so that the film can be premiered in London.

Talking about his role in the movie (which is inspired by the 1979 super hit film <em>Gol Maal</em>), the actor says, “I play a village wrestler, a strong man who thinks that he can speak English. But the fact is that he is very bad. Since everybody is scared of him, nobody corrects his language”.

And Katrina Kaif’s role as the politician who builds a vast empire of power and administration will be further fleshed out. This time she takes centre stage. Yes, Katrina will play a king-sized female politician. <em>Raajneeti 2</em> will chronicle her rise to power and then her descent into a megalomaniacal self-serving politics that would finally destroy her.
