Now this is what we call a masala dope. The story deals with beautiful and gracious, Smriti Mohan. Smriti is currently a part of Sahara One’s show <em>Niyati</em> but she has been missing from action. Reason? Our sources have told us that she is not in town and currently is in Lucknow. What is she doing there? Well…apparently she has gone to meet her ex-husband Jag Mohan. Whoa…so what about her current beau, actor Tarun Khanna whom she is dating? So many questions…let’s find the answers.

We had told you about Jas Arora replacing Anuj Saxena in Aruna Irani's Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. But now it seems, even he has walked out of show after shooting for a few episodes. A little birdie told us Jas was made to wait for seven hours for a particular shooting sequence and then he was asked to wear glasses for a slightly mature look. For those uninitiated, the good looking hunk plays father to Barkha Bisht in the show and the role (a cameo of sorts - almost 20 episodes) was earlier slated to be enacted by Anuj Saxena but he recently quit it on grounds of inordinate delays.

It's not that the dashing Jas Arora has not essayed a role of a father on a TV show before. He was last seen in Star's Prithvi Raj Chohan, where he played the protagonist's papa, warrior king Someswar. And now he's been roped in to play papa again to Barkha Bisht in Aruna Irani's Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. The role (a cameo of sorts - almost 20 episodes) was earlier slated to be enacted by Anuj Saxena but he recently quit it on grounds of inordinate delays.

Queen bee of soaps, Ekta Kapoor loves to shock viewers with her unexpected twists and turns in her saas bahu soaps. The recent re-entry of Daksha Ben in Kyunki being a case in point. Tarun Khanna who plays Aditya in Sahara One's Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye and the legal shark Dhanraj Singhania in Kulvaddhu, recently shot for an episodic of Aahat on Sony. In the show he plays the role of Dipesh whose past catches up with him and starts haunting him. He is paired with Aarzoo Gowatrikar in the show.

Not being deterred with the debacle of Sony's Vaidehi, Aroona Irani was already ready to join the TRP race again with her new show Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. But there is some disappointment on that front too. This family saga was initially scheduled to go on air on 15th January which shifted to 22nd and last heard it's being postponed to February…..phew! Fingers are being pointed at the production house which seems to be facing some teething issues.

In spite of Rishton Ki Dor not doing too well, Anuj Saxena seems to be flooded with offers. We all know that he's doing a cameo in Sahara One's Solaah Shringaar. And now news has filtered in that Anuj is being considered to play the lead opposite two lovely ladies for two new shows on Sony TV - one opposite Renuka Shahane in Jeetiye and the second opposite Aamna Shariff in an untitled venture. But a source reveals that the actor is probably declining both the shows.

Snigdha Akolkar of Sahara One's Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiya fame (as Shyamalee) has gotten lucky with a big banner film down South. The pretty actor is doing a big budget film as the lead actor opposite a biggie from Mollywood but refuses to divulge details about her current venture.
