Prolonged wait for Aroona Irani's doli

Not being deterred with the debacle of Sony's Vaidehi, Aroona Irani was already ready to join the TRP race again with her new show Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. But there is some disappointment on that front too. This family saga was initially scheduled to go on air on 15th January which shifted to 22nd and last heard it's being postponed to February…..phew! Fingers are being pointed at the production house which seems to be facing some teething issues.

This shillyshally is also testing the patience of Barkha Bisht (she plays the protagonist in Doli)…..who is heavily banking on this show as post Pyar Ke Do Naam…this is her only prime time daily (ya she does anchor Popkorn Newz on Zoom, but that's passable!). We all know the 'V' element didn't work for Aroona Irani so will her old 'D' fixation (Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand) bring good news for this producer-cum-actor? But for our answers we'll first have to wait for the day when her new show finally takes off.
