In a casting coup of sorts, Sujoy Ghosh, who is still enjoying all the adulation for his Vidya Balan-starrer <em>Kahaani</em> is bringing together three best talents of Bollywood viz Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan for his next film titled Badla.

After a long wait, Balaji Motion Pictures’ Vidya Balan-starrer The Dirty Picture will be shown on TV on 26 August (2012) on Sony Entertainment Television.
Though we could not get in touch with Sony senior executive vice president and business head Sneha Rajani, she tweeted, “It will be showcased twice in the day once at 12 p.m. and then at 8:30 p.m. not post 11 pm.”
"We are very elated that finally our National award-winning film will make it to TV screens," said Balaji Motion Pictures head of acquisition and distribution Girish Johar.

Satabdi Roy’s much hyped Bengali version of The Dirty Picture has been shelved after Balaji head honcho Ekta Kapoor objected to the title and asked her not to make the film. It is said that Ekta was also not agreeable for a scene by scene making of her film, through a legal notice.

The team of Balaji Motion Pictures is excited that their biggest cult release of 2011, The Dirty Picture, will now screen in France. Initially, it will have a major art-house release in te picturesque city on 4 July.
The film, embedded with French subtitles, will show on three screens in Paris and one in Orleans. After its initial run, the film will travel to smaller towns in France and suburbs of Paris, further releasing in all major art-house cinemas in the country.
