7 tips from Mugdha 'Aarushi' Chaphekar to impress your mother-in-law

7 tips from Mugdha

The beautiful Mugdha Chaphekar aka Aarushi of Zee TV’s Satrangi Sasural (24 Frames) has managed to impress her on-screen mothers-in-law (seven of them!). Take a bow already, girl!

Tellychakkar.com got in touch with the charming lady to know simple tips to build a great rapport with the mother-in-law. Read on, ladies. And yes, you’re welcome.

She shared, “Yes, it’s true that I have seven wonderful mothers-in-law. Any girl would fear having one and here I have seven of them! Entering a household with so many women is the biggest challenge a girl can have. But Aarushi loves challenges. She has confidence in herself and her love. Even in my real life, I would want to be my saasu’s best buddy. Since I have seven moms, here are same number of tips:

1. Be yourself: Never pretend to be different in front of your mother-in-law. The more you open up, the more you will gel with her.

2. Never try to impress your mom in law just for the sake of it: Many girls try doing things that are not necessary and they end up making everything worse. Make sure that you know her well and then try building a rapport with her. Make an effort to notice the good in her.

3. Always listen to what she says: Mothers-in-law are older so have witnessed life more than us. Always make sure that you listen to her as they are more experienced.

4. Think of her as your own mother: It’s true we have spent our half our lives with our mother, but never compare her with your mother-in-law. Give her the equal importance and love. Be polite and seek advice from her.

5. Even though you have differences with her the love will always be there: Every family has fights, but always learn to forgive and forget. These simple tips can make your life much easier.

6. Talk to her like you talk to your friend: Trust me, being friends with her is the most wonderful thing ever. Try to be yourself and discuss things that you both enjoy.

7. Cook with her: Learning together helps your bond get stronger. Help her in kitchen and try experimenting different dishes, to be in her good books.
