TV actors pick the hottest 'monsoon' destination!

The ideal way to spend monsoon is going for a long drive, sipping a cup of hot tea and gorging over some yummy fried food. And if you haven’t done it yet, what are you waiting for?

Some people dislike getting drenched in the rains and prefer watching it from their windows. While others go for a long drive and enjoy the breezy weather. Which category do you fall under?

Well, we asked some of our favourite TV actors the place they would like to visit during this season…read on:

Surbhi Jyoti: Well, I don’t mind getting drenched in monsoon, so I like places where I can chill and enjoy it. For me, the best place to visit is Goa and Leh Ladakh.

Manish Raisinghan: The quickest and the coolest place to visit is Lonavala and Khandala. I am a goat when it comes to greenery. I love nature and like to get disconnected from the city life for a while. In Lonavala, one can actually enjoy five star tents.

Eisha Singh: As I am new in the city, I am yet to travel during monsoons. But I have heard and come across to lot of pictures of Lonavala, hence, I want to visit there first. But bandstand and Marine drive are also good places for a rainy date!

Jay Bhanushali: My favourite place to chill during monsoon is Amby Valley and Machan. The best part about the place is the greenery and serenity.

Asmita Sood: The best place for me to visit during monsoons is my hometown Shimla! I love the lush greens, blue skies, the mist and the sunsets. It’s just magical. The sky is splashed with different hues and shades of many colours. It's almost like a palette in the sky!

Rachana Parulkar: I love Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. It's so beautiful during monsoons. I don't think I have had a great time anywhere else in India as much as I have had there. One can enjoy go-karting in rains.

Vahbiz Dorabjee: Mahableshwar or Panchgani, as one can experience awesome weather and eat yummy bhutta. It’s misty and chilly and has beautiful hotels with greenery all around the valleys. I love eating butta and bhajia and also enjoy shopping in the Mahableshwar market.

Aakanksha Singh: I love to be in my home town in monsoons as there are forts and so many places to chill at. In fact, I am in Jaipur right now. There are beautiful cafes on the highway, scenic locales, beautiful roads for long drives…sigh.
