TV celebs select their favourite youth show of 2013
We all at some point or the other take a break from the usual mundane life and on a sip of coffee remember nostalgically the younger days when we had so much fun and life was balmily breezy. And thanks to numerous youth shows on television, one can again re-live the carefree days of school and college. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, television actors select their favourite youth show of 2013. Read on… Asha Negi: I love watching Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindaas because of the different romantic stories they present in each episode. Paridhi Sharma: I haven’t been watching many youth shows, but I managed to watch a few episodes of Roadies (MTV) and I found it very entertaining. More particularly, it was interesting to watch candidates being auditioned. Nikita Sharma: I think Gumrah (Channel V) is a very good show as it teaches the teenagers how to differentiate between the right and wrong. It has a beautiful concept and an amazing format. Aditya Redij: Gumrah is a very good show as it educates people about issues children deal with today and also creates awareness on the pros and cons of the society. Karan Patel: I would nominate Gumrah since my friend Karan Kundra is doing a fabulous work as the host in the show. Ankur Nayyar: I like watching Yeh Hai Aashiqui. It is a very interesting show. Sangeeta Ghosh: I nominate Gumrah in this category. I have not watched all the episodes of Gumrah due to my busy work schedule but out of what I have followed, I feel it is a very good thing to bring to light the problems which teenagers face. It not only benefits the parents watching the show but also the teenagers, so they know how to tackle problems in their life too. Shalini Kapoor: Well, I have seen Gumrah and I really like the way the show has been shot and executed. Tina Dutta: Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Dil Dostii Dance (Channel V) are my favourite youth shows. Karan Tacker: I think Dil Dostii Dance has done a fabulous job in 2013. There was Star One who created youth based shows but unfortunately the channel shutdown. So, considering the focus on youth based shows, D3 has again rejuvenated the genre. Rithvik Dhanjani: I think Yeh Hai Aashiqui is the best youth show as of today. Not only is it entertaining but it is inspiring as well. Sumit Vats: Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindaas is a beautiful show to watch.
