TV celebs talk: Five good deeds to perform on Eid
Even though Eid has its own divine significance it is still celebrated in different ways depending from person to person. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with a few celebs who plan to perform a few set of five good deeds on the very sacred day. Have a look. Naved Aslam: Hug people irrespective of their religion and past issues. Cook some good food for my family and friends. Get my friends out of their busy schedules and arrange for a small get-together and also telling them to switch off their phones so that there is no occurrence of any sorts of disturbance. I’d also encourage my friends to sing a few Hindi masaledar songs for me; it’s been quite a long time since I’ve heard them sing. I’d want to hear them talk about their own subject of choice. Akhlaque Khan: I’d so want to be with my family and spend some time with them, especially on a Holy day like Eid. Since I have no one to celebrate Eid with, this also means that I am unable to have good food. So I’ll be missing on sheer kurma. After getting done with my prayers I’d hug people with all my heart, leaving behind all the hatred and other sorts of aversions against them. I’d also want to forget my past incidents and forgive a few people for their wrong doings. I also most importantly wish to meet Shahrukh Khan this Eid. (giggles) Ali Mercchant: I’d firstly start praying the namaz without fail. I’d also want to meet my family and friends and spend some quality time with them because it so happens that we end up meeting our closed ones only on important occasions. And therefore I wouldn’t want to miss this opportunity. I have also thought of doing some charity on the day of Eid. So this year as well I’d plan to do the same. There is an Ashram for young kids called Bala Shah and I will be donating few stuffs that I owe to these blessed kids. Lastly I’d love to throw a party for a few close friends of mine. Hasan Zaidi: Firstly I’d want to thank God for everything that he has blessed me with. I’d want to express my happiness to those who have made me what I am today. Be it for whatever reason, but there are people losing out on their precious lives and its time that people should realize this. I’d try and spend some time making people aware about the same and supporting this cause. I am also planning to help those in need in the form of a charity donation. You may find this astonishing but I am looking forward to cook something special for my mum this Eid. Shireen Mirza: I had recently celebrated a biryani party with my cast of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein since most of them are Muslims. I will be planning to do the same on the Eid with my friend and family and members too. I’ll be visiting my family which is in Jaipur this year and hanging out with them. I will savor over the very tempting sheer kurma which is only cooked on the day of Eid, so I am not going to miss that delicacy come what may. To begin with my day. I’d start off praying the special Eid namaz prayer. I’d also cook some Eid special dishes which are of a healthy diet.
