It seems like a nice day to talk about some of the books which have truly touched the hearts of many in the world!!!
Literary characters always fascinate actors and here TV actors share literary roles they would like to enact.
Manish Wadhwa
I have earlier played Chanakya and I would again love to do it. I have played larger than life character so now I would love to play something simple like in R K Narayan’s novels.
Urvashi Dholakia
I would love to be Goldilocks from the book Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Arhaan Behll
Though it has already been adapted and I loved the film as well, but would any day love to play Hamlet. Other characters that I would love to play are Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby, Dorian Gray from The Picture of Dorian Gray, Modern day Chanakya.
Anupriya Kapoor
Actually I loved Nachyo Bahut Gopal and Pinjar by Amrita Pritam so I would love to play a character from any novel by her because her stories are mostly about Indian women and I like her style of writing a lot.
Kushal Punjabi
I would love to play Harry Potter because of his magical power and he is also the most loved character.
Pooja Gor
I think I would love to play Nancy Drew from Nancy Drew Mystery Stories. She is smart, clever, and fiercely devoted to solving crimes. This character used to be my favourite in my childhood days.
Pragati Mehra
I would love to portray all four characters from the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It is based on a real life story and depicted very well.
Karan Kundra
I really like Hussain Zaidi’s books Black Friday, Mafia Queens of Mumbai, Dongri to Dubai, Khaled Hossein’s The Kite Runner and the Mountains Echoed, Shobhaa De’s Shethji, Amish Tripathi’s Shiva Trilogy, Ashwin Sanghi’s The Rozabal Line and Chanakya's Chant. So I would like to essay strong characters from any of these books.
Happy World Book Day to all!!!
