They met on the sets of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi and from there on Mona Singh took on her friendship with Karan Oberoi much seriously. But officially she went on refuting her clandestine romance with the hunk from The Bad of Boys and labelled it as 'good friends'. But after yesterday's episode of Jhaalak Dikhla Jaa, the lady has once again fuelled the controversy. Post her performance on a Bollywood number, host Parmeet Sethi turned his attention to Mona's family for their comments and voila, we see Karan seated with her parents!!! It was reported a few days back that Mona's mom is very much eager to find a suitable match for her lovely daughter. So has the groom hunt ended? Shveta grooves and turns blue! What price did sultry actor Shveta Salve have to pay for putting in so much of hard work for Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa? A bruised knee! Recently when Shveta was practicing non-stop on her Rumba number for the upcoming episode, she tripped because of some certain moves and hurt her knee. "It's swollen and my skin has turned blue," she says. But this sassy dancer is still practicing as she puts it, "No pain, no gain" and she attributes her grace to her genes, "I come from the Kolhi family and probably dancing is in my blood!" We can already envisage her grand mum and mom jiving away to hee pori konachi! After romancing Cezzane, it's Anuj now! Urvashi Dholakia was till now the common factor between Cezanne Khan and Anuj Saxena as she is working in both Kassauti Zindagi Kay and Rishton Ki Dor, where they both play leads respectively. And now it's the turn of bong beauty Moonmoon. She currently plays Anurag's (Cezzane) wife in Kasauti…..and has recently been roped in for Rishton ….to play an investigating officer, Neha, who happens to be Suhaas' (Anuj) blast from the past. She enters the track to solve a murder mystery. What's interesting is the fact that a few years back, Moonmoon had essayed Anuj's sister in Kkusum and considers him a brother in real life too! Hope this doesn't hamper their romantic track which will soon go on air. And then we'll ask this sultry, doe-eyed actor, 'Who's the better lover on-screen, Anuj or Cezzane?' John Abraham's twin in Tellywood?! Mickkie Dudaaney, who plays the villain, Yuvraj Goenka in Star's afternoon show Saarthi has been roped in for CID on Sony because (believe it or not) he resembles Bollywood hottie John Abraham! This detective serial had been hunting for a John look-alike as the role demanded the actor's motorbike escapades ala Dhoom. And the similarities don't end with their appearances. Incidentally, Mickkie and John share the same birthday, i.e. 17th December! "This is my second episodic appearance on CID, and I am all charged up for this one," says this 23-year-old daredevil actor who did a stunt of jumping from the balcony of a second storey to the hall in an earlier episode of CID. So, here's hoping Micckie gets the same taste of success as John has on the big screen! A convincing Casanova act! How would you judge if a person is a good actor - by his convincing portrayal of the role, of course! And that's what Ashish Kapoor's brilliant performance as Dheer Kunwarsa of Saat Phere, did to him, although it worked against him! Remember the wayward and errant ghar-jamai's liaison with Jumma, the maid of the house? Ashish Kapoor seems to have portrayed it so realistically that he is without a housemaid for the past one month! Overheard the bachelor citing this funny anecdote, "Whenever a new bai is sent to be employed in my house, she looks at me and asks 'madam kidar hain?' (where's madam?) and asks for my wife. When I say I am single, she informs 'baad mein aayenge' (she will come later) and disappears never to turn up." As far as the maidservants of his locality go, probably they are too scared to end up as another Jumma! But in real life the good-looking actor is far from the philandering Dheer Kunwarsa. He does not even have a girlfriend and has ended up being the best friend of all his female co-stars! Incidentally, Ashish plays Dr.Shekhar in India Calling and we hope there is not a line-up of patients at his doorstep next!
