Trouble in Sanaya and Drashti's friendship

Sanaya and Drashti
All of us for sure have heard of many sordid tales of broken friendship, but this one really shocked us. Television beauties, Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami have been best friends and have been supporting one another through thick and thin. In the past we have seen both of them posing for the shutterbugs during each other’s wedding. The duo even made guest appearances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa by performing a special dance sequence with their bestie. But, as we have heard many a times that all good things come to end, same seems to be happening with this pair of friends. A source from the sets of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani shared, “The makers wanted to cast another popular face in the series opposite Siddhanth Karnick to spice up Gayatri (Drashti) and Ranaji’s (Siddhanth) love story. The development was at the initial stage and they approached Sanaya to play the role. But, Drashti was certainly not happy with such development as she thought that another prominent female face would steal the limelight from her.” When we reached out to a common friend of Irani and Dhami, confirming the development the friend stated, “Though Sanaya without having a second thought declined the project considering Drashti’s involvement in it, however, she was a bit hurt about the fact that Drashti strictly warned the production house to not sign Sanaya.” Their friend also added that perhaps this is the reason why Drashti and Sanaya did not spend Holi together this year. Both Sanaya and Drashti remained unavailable for a comment. We hope that the issues between them sorts out soon and we get to witness the buddies back together. This is an April Fool's story.
