MUMBAI:Surya tells Imlie that he wants to talk to her something important and can’t wait. Daadi says she wants to tell him something first and takes him aside. She asks what he wanted to tell Imlie. Surya says truth which she already told Daadi. Daadi asks if he wants to free himself from the guilt. Surya says he just wants to reveal truth. Daadi says he was just doing his duty and Imlie was doing her duty, so they both need not feel guilty. She convinces him to give Imlie a new life. Family eagerly waits to know why Daadi took Surya inside a room while she herself was eager to bring Imlie home.

Daadi walks out of the room with Surya and asks Imlie if she trusts her. Imlie says a mother can never think bad for her daughter. Daadi says she wants Imlie to remarry again and wants Surya to fill her hairline. Imlie says Surya is her devar/BIL and how can she marry her BIL, she is living to fulfill the promise she made to Agastya while he was dying and didn’t did herself with him. Daadi insists that she always did wrong with Imlie and now she wants her to live a peaceful life instead of fighting for them. Sonali supports Imlie, but Daadi gets adamant.

Imlie asks Surya why is he silent and not speaking. Daadi says she spent 25 years of her life alone and a few months waiting for Agastya, now she wants her to settle down after marrying Surya. Imlie runs away from there. Daadi says Surya will bring her back. Sonali says marriage is not a joke, earlier she wanted Surya to marry Noyonika and now she wants Imlie to marry Surya. Shivani says Surya is their brother and they can’t let their one’s brother’s wife marry another brother. Daadi says Surya is repenting for his mistake and hence is a perfect choice for Imlie. Shivani says that doesn’t mean she will give him Imlie as a trophy. Daadi continues her adamancy.

Surya follows Imlie and stops her. Imlie tongue lashes him for not speaking in front of Daadi and opposing her decision. Surya stands speechless. She refuses to marry him. He says Agastya died because of him. She says it was not his mistake, so he shouldn’t feel guilty. She continues her opposition and walks away from there. Surya thinks
