Raqesh And Riddhi
They are a couple who look head over heels in love. They are jovial, beautiful and of course, great souls. They played on screen couple in Maryada…Lekin Kab Tak (Star Plus). Yes, by now you guys must have realised who we are talking about. Of course, Raqesh and Riddhi Vashisht. Tellychakkar.com caught up with the lovebirds and talked about their love, life and chemistry. Was it love at first sight? Riddhi: No, it was friendship at first sight. Raqesh: No, I think it was comfort. Where did you first see each other? Riddhi: At a shoot for Yashraj’s show. Raqesh: At a shoot for Yashraj’s show at Globus mall, Mumbai. What attracted you about him/her (physical attribute)? Riddhi: His way of talking. Raqesh: She is a very beautiful person inside and outside, but I would say her eyes. They are too transparent. What quality of his/her you hate the most? Riddhi: He doesn't take care of himself. Raqesh: She is impatient and not a good listener. What is the one thing that you would want to change about him/her? Riddhi: As I said, he doesn’t take proper care of himself. Doesn’t eat and sleep properly. He should change that habit. Raqesh: She is too transparent, so she can’t hide her feelings. She needs to be diplomatic. His/her first gift to you? Riddhi: Engagement ring. Raqesh: I love flowers, especially lily, and she didn’t know about this. One day suddenly she brought some lily flowers which brought a smile on my face. What have you done special for him/her? Riddhi: I always cook for him. I usually cook dal makhani and mutter paneer. He loves sweets a lot. Raqesh: I am a maniac when it comes to shopping. One day I went to a designer store and bought almost everything. I had to buy a suitcase to fit all those stuff. A surprise you gave him/her? Riddhi: I threw a house party for him and called all his friends. Raqesh: In one her birthdays, I booked a place pool side and called all her friends. What angers him/her the most? Riddhi: My laziness. Raqesh: I am a very impatient person and she doesn’t understand that. As I have always led a bachelor’s life, my irregular habits are something that annoys her the most. Your idea of marriage? Riddhi: It is a bond that is unbreakable. Raqesh: It’s a bond and it’s not something superficial. It comes with a baggage and the first year is especially the difficult one. What will you do to keep your marriage alive? Riddhi: Friendship, trust and communication will build the relationship. Raqesh: I will re-invent things and will try to give space and I also believe that boredom shouldn’t enter in life. Are you jealous of male/female attention? Riddhi: No, I am not. On the contrary, I love it when my husband gets attention. Raqesh: Jealous? Not at all. I know she is beautiful and make heads turn but I feel happy when people appreciate her beauty. Does he/she like your buddies? Riddhi: Yes, he does. Raqesh: Yes, she is close to all my pals. Idea of a dream holiday together? Riddhi: On a cruise or a world tour. Raqesh: It would be definitely on a cruise, with a sea facing open balcony. Finally, year 2042, where and how do you see yourselves? Riddhi: We will be living happily with our kids, grand children and surely acting. When Zohra Seghal can act at the age of 100, I feel even we should gain some motivation from here. Raqesh: I want to be a happy and satisfied person. I might not become the richest person but I want to be a satisfied person with Riddhi and my kids by side.
