There is no pressure in hosting Emotional Atyachar : Pravesh Rana

After a successful stint of hosting Chak Dhoom Dhoom, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/stardiary/when-people-started-calling-me-my-first-name>Pravesh Rana</a> returns as the host of Emotional Atyachar. We caught up with Rana to know more… <strong>What made you take up <em>Emotional Atyachar</em>?</strong> It is a path breaking show, a show that redefined reality shows so, why not. The show also gives the anchor a chance to do a lot, there is no format, no script for the anchor as such, and therefore I realised there is scope for me to perform as well.

After a successful stint of hosting Chak Dhoom Dhoom, Pravesh Rana returns as the host of Emotional Atyachar. We caught up with Rana to know more… What made you take up Emotional Atyachar? It is a path breaking show, a show that redefined reality shows so, why not. The show also gives the anchor a chance to do a lot, there is no format, no script for the anchor as such, and therefore I realised there is scope for me to perform as well. Would you be a part of a show like Emotional Atyachar participant? I don’t have a girlfriend so me being a part of the show doesn’t come into the picture at all. The show had been severely criticised in the first season because it brought private lives into public foray. What do you have to say about that? We are showing what is happening in our society. We cannot ignore and turn a blind eye to what is happening around us. Emotional Atyachar is addressing these issues. In addition, we do not force people to conduct loyalty tests. It is the choice of the people who come up to us. It is up to them that they want to do a reality check. We read somewhere that your father was not very happy with your decision of hosting Emotional Atyachar? No, it wasn’t that he wasn’t uncomfortable. I don’t meet him because am based in Mumbai so when I told him about the show he was a little worried. I told him I was hosting it and not participating, so he didn’t mind it at all. How has your life changed pre and post Bigg Boss? Pre Bigg Boss in spite of winning the Mr India title people did not know me. I got my recognition and fame courtesy Bigg Boss. Bigg Boss gave me the platform to convey my feelings, a platform to express my thoughts to the audiences. The buzz is Bigg Boss is a scripted show… The show is definitely not scripted. It is a competition and you can be a friend to someone only to an extent, sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t. However, with me I am still in touch with the friends I made on the show. I am in touch with Rajuji (Shrivastav), Claudia (Ciesla). How would you describe your Chak Dhoom Dhoom experience? Wonderful! It has been one of the most memorable experiences for me. It was fun interacting with the kids and it is amazing to see their talent. Lastly, any pressure considering Angad Bedi and Vivan Bhatena had earlier hosted Emotional Atyachar? No, I don’t feel any pressure. There is no set anchoring or any pattern I am expected to follow so I am fine.
