Enjoy life, eat & exercise and don’t drink alcohol: Aakanksha Singh

The fun and easygoing dude Akhlaque Khan donned the coat of a journalist as Tellychakkar’s Guest Editor recently and grilled his friends from the industry as part of his job. The captivating and breathtaking Aakanksha Singh, his co star from Naa Bole Tum Naa Maine Kuch Kaha was his target for an interview. Akhlaque got her talking of her petite figure, fitness mantras and more. Personal fitness mantra? I spend a worthy amount of time exercising, and have nimbu pani everyday. Personal diet mantra? I have a natural petite figure, so I am lucky that way. But I make sure to eat every two hours to not starve my body. Are you a foodie? Yes, I love food. But looking at me, nobody really agrees to that (laughs). Exercise routine? My exercise routine includes yoga, suryanamaskar, crunches etc. I have become enthusiastic about exercising after joining a gym. Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg? I am a vegetarian but egg is an exception. Favourite cuisine? I love all types of food. I am fond of ghar ka khaana and being from Jaipur, I enjoy all the rich food of India. Favourite dish? Golgappas in Jaipur and Delhi, set my mouth-watering. A must on your breakfast table? A glass of lassi. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee? I prefer having chai with sugar Lunch generally consists of? When I was in Mumbai, I used to eat vegetables of my choice, but now here back home I am happy with whatever I am served (laughs). Dinner generally consists of? I have a light dinner consisting of roti, sabzi and salad. Dessert delights? Sizzling chocolate brownie with ice-cream. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)? I like having Frooti, Maaza, nimbu pani and carrot’s juice. My favourite drink (alcoholic)? I don’t drink. Most unusual dish I have tasted? That has never really happened. Experiment with food? I don’t really experiment with food but I have to eat weird stuff on insistence of my fiancé Kunal (Sain). He has fed me biscuit with chutney and sauce (laughs). On the streets I love to have? I love having golgappas. Do you cook? I know how to cook but I do it only when I want to. I am en expert at making bhindi and rotis. Fitness tip? Have plenty of natural juices like nariyal pani. Make your health a priority. Enjoy life, eat and exercise and don’t drink alcohol.
