Fashionista Meghna Naidu, who rose to fame with her item song Kaliyon ka Chaman, recently visited the office of Tellychakkar.com as the Guest Editor. And she did have a great time hunting for stories and filing them.
Upon given a chance to interview someone on fashion for our Lifestyle column, the actress chose her good friend Kishwer Merchantt as the perfect target.
Fashion is…
Fashion is being comfortable. One should always look at the comfort part while dressing up.
Who chooses your clothes?
I do. Why would anyone else choose my clothes? (laughs)
Do you wear accessories?
Not at all.
Do you follow any brands?
I follow only cheap brands (laughs). Forever 21, Zara, Mango are the brands that I do like. (‘But you know na anything that is sasta and tikao tops our list’, she added as they both started giggling like school kids).
Favourite shopping destination?
Dubai and Bangkok.
Your most expensive buy?
I got this Miss Sixty shoes sometime back that cost me a whooping Rs 26, 000.
Clothes you are comfortable in?
Jeans and T-shirts.
Must have in your wallet?
Hand sanitizer, lip balm and a phone charger. You remember the last time we charged our phone at the restaurant (laughs).
Favourite perfume?
Glitter.
Describe sale in one word?
Hmmm… ‘Sale’! Hahaha!
Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with?
Since I have a fetish for shoes, there are quite a number of them in my wardrobe.
You have the hardest time getting dressed for?
Weddings; I really have a hard time wearing Indian wear. (here Meghna complimented Kishwer how wonderful she looks in them though).
Any fashion disaster you have come across recently?
I really find it funny and weird that the healthier a girl is, she always wears the shortest dresses. I mean don’t they see themselves in the mirror before heading out.
If you had to choose a fashion era; which period would it be?
The current era for sure!
