I want to travel with Hrithik Roshan: Vindhya Tiwary

Actress Vindhya Tiwari talks about her best travel memories and what she does when she’s on vacation.
Vindhya Tiwary

She is young, ingenious and a sucker for all things worldly. We’re talking about the talented and vivacious actress Vindhya Tiwary. She is best known for her role in Star Plus’ Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? She is currently seen as &TV’s Waaris as Sakshi.

In a quick dialogue with TellyChakkar.com, the actress talks about her travel diaries and what she loves the most when she’s outdoor. Read on..

Why do you do while travelling?

I have always travelled due to work till now. But for me, trying out the local food of where I am is a requisite. I still remember visiting Manali for a shoot; the taste of the vegetable Maggi I ate there still lingers on my taste buds as I talk about it. I avoid shopping and focus on exploring the place, talking to locals and trying out the street food.

You dream destination?

Switzerland! I love mountainous regions. I am a serenity-seeker, I like to have my own space and be lost in my own world. According to me, hills are the best place to experience that.

Best vacation till date?

This one trip I took to Nainital with my parents and my pet dog a few years ago is the most memorable trip of my life. We stayed there for ten long days and had the best time.

Preference: Hill, beaches, or monuments?

As I said, I prefer hilly areas. They are really pollution-free, and you get to breathe clean fresh air which really revives you.

Road, air or water?

Air. I believe in hassle-free travelling. My mantra is to reach the destination as soon as I can and start exploring the place. I can’t waste my time on the journey.

3 things must in your travel kit?

Just three? I’ll give you more. Wet wipes, power-bank, money, eye-drops and not to forget my favourite shade of butter lip glosses. (giggles)

Ever travelled alone or wish to?

Honestly, as I’m the only child, my parents are really protective of me. They have never let me go on a trip alone. I was once supposed to go on a trip with my friends to Goa and guess what? I missed my flight. But I wish to travel on my own soon.

Best season to travel?

November is the perfect time to go anywhere. The onset of winter makes it very suitable to enjoy any destination.

Your travel buddy?

Most definitely, my parents.

Never again destination?

I think I’ve explored Manali enough.

Celeb you want to travel with?

After seeing Hrithik Roshan in Bang Bang, I’d choose him as my travel partner. He is so good-looking! (giggles)
