Money is not important to me - Additi Gupta

Additi Gupta
Born in Bhopal, Additi Gupta captivated the audience with her awestruck performance in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and reality show, Zara Nachke Dikha amongst many other fiction shows. She is someone who knows how one can balance her investments in the right way, her father being an experienced banker. With Tellychakkar.com the beautiful lady gives some tips on investments. How important is money to you? I would not like to sound clichéd, but money is not important to me. It is of great use to fulfill basic necessities. Are you an impulsive buyer? Yes. I do not frame a time period to buy the things I like. If I like it, I buy it. What are the investments that you have made? My father handles my investments. My personal investments are very petty, like investing in mobile phones. What has been your most expensive purchase? My laptop is my most expensive purchase. It cost me Rs. 72,000. Do you feel financially secure? Always. Who handles your expenses? As mentioned earlier, my father handles my expenses. What was your first salary? I earned my first salary in Bhopal as a model for a creative section of a magazine called, Grihshobha. I was paid Rs. 2,500. How much money do you carry every day? I think Rs. 1,000- 1,500 is more than enough. If I carry more than that of liquid cash, I tend to overspend. Your advice to new investors? A lot of people save money rather than investing it. I would advise people to invest their money in FD’s (Fixed Deposit) by which they can not only save but also get high returns of investment.
