Define fashion? I feel that you look best when you wear something that suits you. Fashion should be individualistic. I believe in setting trends for my own self. I do not follow the trend of others. Who chooses your clothes? I choose my clothes and I do not like any one else intervening with my choice of clothes. Sometimes, I take help from my designer friend Poonam. But the choice is always mine. I love to shop alone. Shopping is always a solo activity rather than a group activity. Do you like to accessorise yourself? I do not like to accessorise myself. I started acting in serials at a very young age because of which I have been wearing too many accessories since a young age. Every show that I have taken up requires me to be loaded with accessories be it Baalika Wadhu, Jo Ishq Di Marzi… or Ek Thi Rajkumari. So in my real life, I prefer to keep away from accessories. I just like wearing good clothes along with a nice watch, attractive pair of shoes and a good hair style. My hair has to be done properly. I wash and blow dry my hair everyday. Is there any particular brand that you prefer for clothes? United Colors Of Benetton, Adidas and Nike. My sense of style is sporty and casual. What is your favourite destination for shopping? I generally shop from shopping malls. I have never been out of India but I have heard that Dubai is very good for shopping. So I would love to shop there. I have heard that you get to explore a lot with clothes, bags and shoes out there. Which are the clothes that make you feel comfortable? Denim and a sports t-shirt. I also feel comfortable in short skirts. A kurti with a patiala salwar is the most comfortable thing to wear. You will always find me dressed in them when I am at home. Who is your favourite designer? Well, I think it is Manish Malhotra. I love his clothes but I have never bought anything from him as his clothes are too expensive and I never had any occasion to buy such an expensive outfit. For Indian clothes, I opt for Ritu Kumar. A must have in your purse? Perfume, deodorant, kohl pencil, hair brush and wet wipes. What are the make-up products that you prefer? MAC and Krylon because they don’t harm your skin in any way and settle well on your skin. In fact I saw an improvement in my skin after using MAC make-up. A fashion tip. Work on your body so that you are able to wear stylish clothes and experiment with clothes. If your body is in shape you get the confidence to carry anything and everything. A make- up tip. Use a good quality cleanser. Removing make-up properly is very essential. Splash warm water on your face after cleaning up all the make-up and apply milk cream. Pumpkin juice works best for the skin, so drink pumpkin juice every morning on an empty stomach.
