The flamboyant and dynamic Khushwant Walia recently visited the den of Tellychakkar.com and revamped himself by donning the coat of a journalist. Being our Guest Editor, he interviewed some his on-screen wife (Pyaar Ka Dard), the very pretty Monica Khanna for our lifestyle section. The gorgeous and elegant Monica Khanna has been a part of the TV industry and has worked in serial soaps like Mahi way, Crime Patrol, Aaj ki Housewife hai sab jaanti hai, Aasman se Aage and is currently seen as Payal in the Star Plus show Pyaar ka Dard…Meetha Meetha Pyaara pyaara. Here, she unravels some of her health secrets. Take a look. Personal fitness mantra? My personal fitness mantra is to be happy. When you are happy, you are healthy too. Personal diet mantra? I don’t diet. Are you a foodie? I am a big time foodie. I love junk food. Exercise routine? I don’t really exercise. Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg? I am a vegetarian. Favourite cuisine? I love the Chinese cuisine. Favourite dish? My favourite dish is pan fried noodles. A must on your breakfast table? A bowl of cornflakes is a must on my breakfast table. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee? I don’t like tea. I prefer coffee with lots of sugar in it. Lunch generally consists of? My lunch generally consists of roti, sabzi and kadhi-chawal. Dinner generally consists of? Usually I have roti and sabzi. I like having a full meal or something heavy for dinner. Dessert delights? My dessert delights include ice-creams and cakes. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)? I prefer mocktails. Virgin Mojito is my favourite. My favourite drink (alcoholic)? I don’t drink. Most unusual dish I have tasted? I have never tasted anything unusual. I prefer sticking to food that I like. Experiment with food? No, I have never experimented with food. On the streets I love to have? I love street-food. Pani puri, pasta, pav bhaji, chana masala, gola and so much more. The list is never-ending. Do you cook? I cook sometimes. Fitness tip? I would advise people to drink lots of water, eat fruits, eat healthy and work out accordingly.
