MUMBAI:Abeer gives Neerja water to drink. Neerja has her hands handcuffed. Abeer keeps the glass down. Neerja asks Abeer why is he here and says I know you are here to see how miserable I am and so you must be happy seeing me behind the bars, you must have read so much about me in the news, so do what you usually do and start accusing me of everything. Abeer asks the inspector to remove Neerja’s handcuffs. Neerja thanks Abeer.

Abeer thanks Neerja for her help, he says you got yourself in trouble to save me and my family’s reputation. Neerja asks who told you. Abeer says I read the whole truth on your face, I saw you try hard every time to hint me to stop signing the deal papers. Neerja says to him, you never trusted me and why would you trust someone from Sonagachi? Abeer asks Neerja, is Sonagachi your only identity, I have seen you in so many different avatars. Neerja says you never saw me as anything else than a girl from Sonagachi, you believed what you saw. Abeer says to her, you could tell me the truth, why did you hide it?

Neerja says she’s worn out, tired of proving her innocence, making others understand, and thinking about everyone. Neerja admits to calling the police and urges Abeer to return to his life as their paths diverge now that he’s engaged.

Abeer acknowledges it’s only part of the truth. He discloses that she shielded him from the police, sacrificing her reputation for his sake. He insists on hearing her response. Neerja claims she doesn’t have an answer and he couldn’t grasp it, residing in the obscurity. Determined to understand, Abeer persists. Neerja insists he can’t comprehend, urging him to listen to his heart, touching his chest. When pressed to speak, she claims he won’t understand even if his heart speaks. Neerja reveals seeing her with Sheik wasn’t about love; her love for him fueled her actions. She fell for him not knowing his name but after witnessing his character. Unsure of her place in his life, she aimed to protect their love. Relieved after expressing herself, she advises him to start a life with Trisha and remember her darker side, being a nightmare for him.

As Abeer departs, her words linger in his mind. He confides in Sarthak that Neerja loves him, despite no direct admission. Sarthak reminds Abeer of his impending marriage to Trisha, but Abeer feels resolute in his destiny. Returning home, Abeer implores the lawyer to employ all resources to release Neerja and Protima from jail, regardless of the cost.

Moushmi questions Abeer’s change of stance, advising him to distance himself from Neerja, but he defends her sacrifices for the family. Kaushik accuses Neerja of being motivated by money, but Abeer condemns belittling someone’s feelings with money. Munmun highlights Neerja’s significance in Abeer’s life, urging him to cease. Trisha applauds Abeer’s support but warns against disrupting their family’s reputation, emotionally manipulating him to promise not to assist Neerja. Mousmi makes Abeer swear on her to stay away from Neerja.
