MUMBAI: Every year, Bengalis gear up for Durga Puja enthusiastically. The streets of the city of joy are adorned with beautiful lights and people excitedly wait for pandal-hopping. However, in the times of Coronavirus, everything has changed drastically. Owing to the deadly virus, the celebration has to be mellowed down as people’s safety is of utmost importance. Though there are pandals here and there, one could feel how things have changed because of the pandemic. Sourav Ganguly too has expressed his feelings about the same on social media.
The Prince of Calcutta, who has a massive fan following, took to his Instagram handle and shared a few pictures. He was shooting for one of his projects.
Ganguly was shooting on the streets of Kolkata. And while shooting on the streets of the city of joy he could not feel the pulse of the festival. Although he has not mentioned the reason, one can easily understand why he felt so.
