Aakash Aath launches athletics based show titled 'Run Rony Run'

Time and again audience has been inspired by films on athletics!

Now, how about a daily soap on the same? 

Well, Aakash Aath is all set to launch an athletic based show titled 'Run Rony Run' for its loyal viewers. 

It will narrate the journey of an athlete named Ronita Mandal (Rony) played by Shreyosree Roy. 

In the story, Ronita is both a swimmer and a runner. 

Talking about the USP of the show, Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath said, “Run Rony Run is going to be the first mega serial in Bengali television based on athletics.”

“Director Arindam Basu and our officials have met legendary ‘Dronacharya’ coach Kuntal Roy for last six months to get proper research respectively. This kind of vivid research work and proper training session are being done for the big budget film only. These are the first time for the Bengali television screen,” she added. 

Commenting on the show, Arindam said, “This mega serial is going to be a non–studio floor based programme in Bengali television.”

So, readers get ready for a new show. 

The other actors to be part of the soap include Priyam, Mausumi Kar Chatterjee, Anwesh Bhattacharya, Abanti Dutta, Amlan Majumdar, Namita Chakraborty, Bodhisatwa Majumdar, Krishna Kishor Mukherjee, and Koushik Bhattacharjee to name a few.    

It will be aired from 2 November at 7.30 pm.
