Well, there's a major development in Dheeraj Kumar's popular mythological cum fantasy based show, Singhasan Battisi on Sony PAL.
Talented actor Rajesh Khera who was supposed to play the prized role of Betaal in the show has been replaced.
Yes, this is confirmed news. Stepping in as the mighty Betaal will be popular actor Abhaas Mehta.
For the uninitiated, Abhaas was one of the original contenders for the role. But it was Khera's acting expertise that got him the role earlier.
Talking about Abhaas, his superlative negative portrayal in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon won him lot of accolades. He was recently seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev too.
When contacted, Khera said, "Your news is right. I am not playing Betaal now. However I will not get into details now. It will be only unfair to the channel and producers; I will speak to you later."
