So special are a few moments in our lives that we don’t mind rewinding them over and over again.
Veteran actor Abhay Bhargava recently encountered one such moment.
The actor, who is currently seen as Vishwanathan Iyer or to simplify it, plays father to Divyanka Tripathi’s (Ishita) character in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, recently bumped into a group of 20-25 South Indians who gathered around him to get a closer look and ask him a few questions.
“I had just moved out of the building when they noticed and rushed towards me. I was completely taken by surprise as I did not know that this character has become so popular,” he averred.
“They started asking me various question related to the show and specially about Ishu and Raman (Karan Patel) in volumes. I answered their queries patiently and when they learnt about Ishu and Raman coming together they all yelled with joy. That was indeed a wow moment,” Bhargava added.
Did the actor share the same with his team? “Yes, I did. When I reached the sets, I had somewhere around 20 roses in my hand as all of them were coming from a temple where they usually give away roses and surprisingly they handed over the same to me. I distributed the roses among the cast as everyone is equally responsible for the popularity of the show.”
Now, that’s indeed a memorable moment.
