Popular Bengali actress Indrani Halder has joined TMC.

National award winning actress Indrani Halder has joined Trinamool Congress (TMC), the ruling party of West Bengal.
Her joining in the party was announced yesterday (21 July) on the occasion of “Sahid Dibas” in Kolkata.
Commenting on this development, the Jara Bristite Bhijechhilo and Dahan fame posted on her FaceBook page saying, “Today our Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee gave me a big honour and annouced my name as TMC member. Thank you Mam. 21st july 2017.”
In the previous year, there were reports in the media about Indrani joining TMC as she was seen at many of the party’s occasions.
