Actress Ekta Tiwari accuses Cinetek Productions of mismanagement and ill treatment; producer rubbishes claims

Ekta Tiwari
TV actress Ekta Tiwari who will soon make a big screen appearance in the movie Choda Ek Pratha claims to have had a horrid time during her recent trip to Ooty where she had gone to shoot for an episodic of Cinetek Productions’ Bhoot Aaya (Sony Entertainment Television ). An angry Ekta whose call to fame was Star Plus’ Tere Mere Sapne wrote the following on her Facebook wall. “Hi, all artist n technicians ..... To share and inform you.....Need to give u some detail abt a pathetic production house.. for tv show bhoot aaya show shoot in ooty..All artist n crew been forcefully kept there for more then 18 hrs without water tea n food .... Damn All these done by local line producer rafik n local area president sunny vagamon.... Just bcos producer who sitting here in a c offices r not willing to transfer or pay them there due payment of just 10 lac...30 ppl where stuck there We all were in big trouble .... E p was so positive n supportive n ofcourse daring who stay back there all alone in the end on his own risk n sended all us back to eranukulam station to catch train to mumbai. This all episode was not less then any kidnaping or force ing some one on gun point to do some thing. Ll report all this in cintaa for sure, wat else we can do against cinetek production house u suggest..They could have done any thing with us... There in ooty.. Thanks n regards ekta Tiwari, ” (sic) Some really volatile words. When we spoke to Ekta she further added, “After reading my above social media posts several other people called me up and said that they too had experienced problems with Cinetek as well.” When asked did you speak to the producers (Akashdeep Sabir, Keshav Arora, etc) on your return last night, she said, “No but one of the creatives did call me this morning and apologized citing technical issues. I don’t buy it, if you don’t have the money why did you send us in the first place. ” She further demanded an apology and compensation for the mental torture. “Failing which I will approach CINTAA and other governing bodies.” However when we spoke to Keshav he said, “Ekta’s blowing up things out of proportion. In fact she was troublesome throughout the shoot. I concede there was a minor delay in payment and also may be the food and water reached late. But these things happen in outdoor schedules. Actors also need to understand and cooperate. Our production house is a veteran in this field, we have worked with several well-known actors such as Boman Irani, Karishma Kapoor and you can ask them how professional we have always been.” This husband of veteran actress Deepshika Nagpal, Keshav goes on stating, “Her charge on us holding them (she and actors) for 18 hours does not hold any water for had that happened how did she return by the pre booked train? I think this episodic actress (she had also done an episode of Savdhan India) is doing all this all this publicity.” Let’s see if the matter further escalates or gets resolved with mutual communication!!!
