In a shocking incident that highlights, how unsafe women of the country are, actress Mona Vasu of Parichay and Yudh fame was molested yesterday (11 March).

According to the reports on a news channel, Mona was molested while returning home late night.

As per the news, the incident took place near Versova Jetty, while the actress was on her way home. The actress immediately rushed to the Versova Police Station to report a case against the man.

The police took quick action, and the abuser reportedly named Randeep Kumar Gupta was arrested in due time under section 350. He was also presented at Andheri court today.

An investigating officer was quoted telling the news channel that due to the actress’ report the offender was quickly arrested and the case is under jurisdiction proceedings.

When we spoke to the fiery actress, Mona shared, "Such incidents should not be tolerated at all. I immediately flung in action, thrashed the man and took him over to the police station. The case is in process and I hope every woman should stand for her right and fight for justice."
