Adaa Khan returns to TV

Adaa Khan

Yes, she has bounced back to acting, after a really depressing phase, wherein she had lost her voice, courtesy a severe throat inflammation. Now that she has gained her voice, and has gotten more confident of her health condition, the girl decided to test waters of the hectic acting schedule all over again, with an episodic role.

Recently, Adaa Khan shot for Colors’ Code Red Talaash (Lost Boy Productions), in which she will play a Bengali girl. The character will be an extremely demanding one, in terms of showcasing her acting prowess. But Adaa, is now happy that she could go through the rigours without straining her vocal chords much.

Talking about it, Adaa told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, this is my first project after the forced break of nearly one and half months. Even now, I lose my voice at times I have to go through a speech therapy to get completely fine. But I had got so bored of sitting at home, that I decided to take up this role as an experiment to know how fit I am. I must say, the effort put in has been worth it, as this role is so different.”

The story of Code Red will revolve around this Bengali girl, who will be forcefully sold by her uncle, post which she will get possessed.

“Playing a girl possessed really needed me to bring in high levels of energy, and I am glad that I could manage it. Though the schedule was quite hectic, the outcome has been really good. This is a very interesting character where I got to do quite a lot,” stated the actress.

The episode featuring Adaa will air tonight on Code Red.

As for Adaa, we wish you all the luck to stay fit!!
