MUMBAI: Karan Patel, who recently entered Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 to play the iconic character of Mr Bajaj, may not continue the show ahead. Karan had stepped into Karan Singh Grover's shoes and his entry created a lot of buzz around the show.

But now rumours are strong that Karan is not happy with the way his character is being shaped and hence he has decided to quit the show. However, when a leading portal reached out to his team, they refuted any such development.
Karan's spokesperson Avantika Sinha quoted, "There is no truth to it. He is very much a part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2."
The rumour mill started after Karan didn't report to the set for 10 long days. After which speculation started that just like Parth Samthaan, Karan Patel has also decided to quit the show and hence not reporting to the sets. However, when the portal reached out to their reliable source to find the reason for him missing in action, it got to know that the show's current track is focusing on Anurag (Parth Samthaan) Prerna (Erica Fernandes) and their daughter's. Hence, there were no scenes scheduled for him.
