Aleeza Khan who presently plays a witch in Life OK’s new series in Shapath has bagged her next plump role. The last time around, she was seen in her gothic look, and now she will for the first time portray a Muslim character on screen in Life OK’s Savdhan India.

Produced by Rowdy Rascals, the story will revolve a girl (Aleeza) who will fall in love with the son of a rich Muslim businessman. The girl’s father however, will have an eye on the boy’s property; he will go on to plot against the boy with the help of his other daughter. The story will then revolve around the fight back of Aleeza’s character in order to prove that her lover is not characterless, and that he genuinely loves her.

This particular story of Savdhan India will be shot in Lucknow.

When contacted, Aleeza told us, “Finally I get to portray myself on-screen, with this Muslim character. This will be my first on-screen, after I was selected for Qubool Hai which did not happen. Also, I am excited to fly to Lucknow, a new city to explore. The third exciting thing is that I get a chance to work again with my lovely co-actor and friend Prashant Upadhyay from Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. This time we will not share a bhabhi-devar bond, but will play a couple in love.”
