Aishwarya Sakhuja to do a youth show for Channel [V]?

Talented and beautiful actress Aishwarya Sakhuja who was last seen hosting India's Dancing Superstar on Star Plus is being considered for an upcoming youth-centric show for Channel [V] to be produced by Sunshine Productions. The production house already has the show The Buddy Project on air on the same channel. When contacted, Aishwarya who first came into prominence with Sony Entertainment Television’s Saas Bina Sasural said, “Talks are on, but I have not yet signed on the dotted line.” The girl we hear, is more keen on taking up youth shows as compared to saas bahu dramas. However, Aishwarya expressed her views saying, “I think it is unfair to say that I would leave one for the other as both are very popular and have their own respective markets. Having said this, youth shows are a welcome change for the language used is more of the everyday types. Also I will not be wearing saris day in and day out; I will dress quickly much to the pleasure of my ADs (Assistant Directors).” “What I also like about youth shows (Gumrah and Yeh Hai Aashiqui) is that they deal with real issues facing the youth. Hence they find an instant connect with public,” added Aishwarya. When asked about Saas Bina Sasural 2 for which she waited so long, she averred, “It is disappointing that this Optimystix Entertainment project will not happen. But if it ever was to happen, I would give it my first preference for it has made me what and who I am. Though at the moment, I am looking at other options as well.” Besides fiction, Aishwarya would also like to do more of hosting (she anchored Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati on Star Plus). “Acting is my first love, but I would surely take up a good anchoring assignment, if it comes along as it does not take too much of my time.” We wish you grab the right offer, Aishwarya!!!
