MUMBAI: Last seen in Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, Vishal Kotian is all set to give up his single status. Yes, the actor will soon get engaged! Vishal admits that he has been seeing someone since a while and the two are ready to take their relationship to the next level. Talking about it, he said, “We are planning on getting engaged after two months and if everything falls into place, we hope to get married by the end of this year.”
Prod him about his soon-to-be fiancée and Vishal chooses to be tightlipped. “Right now, things are still being planned and discussed. I will reveal more details about my partner, the engagement and my marriage when the time is right,” he adds with a smile.
Meanwhile, on the work front, after Akbar Ka Bal Birbal ended last November, what does he plan to do next? ‘I want to take a short break from television and explore other options like films and the online space. I want to do something new and exciting.
Doing a daily soap takes a lot of time and there’s hardly any time left for me to try anything else. Now is the right time to explore various options. Television is always going to be there for me and I have no qualms about doing it. I also feel that there should be more finite shows like Naagin and 24 on television as it gives an actor more time to work on other things as well,” he says.
