Ali Mercchant to open a food joint - 'Hot and Cool'

Ali Mercchant is a ‘Man on a Mission’ as he is all set to open a food joint which will have his own brand of hot and cool drinks. The joint is aptly named as ‘Hot And Cool’, with a short form of H and C with a tag line that reads - ‘Perfect taste is what all we need’. Ali plans to open three branches of the food joint initially, at Khandivili, Juhu and Bandra, the opening of which is slated to take place either on 24 June 2012 or 1 July 2012. The joint will have Ali’s brand of mocktails, shakes etc. A ‘Food on Wheels’ arrangement is also in the process for the joint. Many actors like Arjun Bijlani, Nandish Sandhu, Jatin Shah, Rashmi Desai, Tina Dutta, Ayushman Khurana, Kritika Kamra, Rohit Roy etc have been actively involved in the promotional campaign of the joint. The actors have been wearing the branded T-shirts and caps of the joint. Says Ali Mercchant, “Yes, I plan to open a food joint on the lines of a McDonalds or a Café Coffee Day. I plan to open many branches in one year, and will start with three startups at Khandivili, Juhu and Bandra.
